  1. We are spending 30k.

    Good luck

  2. We just got married last Sunday and our wedding was $8000 for our portion, my mother did the catering. But it was a gorgeous beachy wedding for 130 guests!

  3. Here is a website that will tell you average cost per zip code:

    www.costofwedding.com.

My FI and I are spending about $20,000-$25,000 for hopefully 100 guests.

  4. Sorry I'm still looking for my future husband.

  5. We spent around 7,000 for ours.  However, we had a lot of our wedding for free.  We had a church wedding that didn't cost us anything, and ever since I was about 12, I wanted my reception in my parents' backyard (it's gorgeous!) so that's where we had it.  Most of the budget went to renting the tables and chairs and food, and my dress, etc.  But we didn't have to pay for a hall or anything, which saved us a bunch.

  6. Your question doesn't really make sense, but if you're asking how much we're spending on our wedding - the total is going to be around $15,000.

The average american wedding is, what, $28,000 now? Close to that.

  7. We spent about $13,000 and had a very nice wedding.  More than half the budget was spent on the venue, which was a nice, upscale mansion with a gorgeous garden gazebo for the ceremony.  We had a friend with a restaurant do the catering / cake and the musicians were friends from church.  I got a lot of the accessories & decorations on eBay for great prices.  We also were married on a Friday night, which saved a ton of money compared to a Saturday.

  8. I'm thinking between 15K-18K.  I'm sure our parents with contribute, I'm just not sure how much.  But, I'm thinking somewhere between 2K-6K each.  But, no exact prices are set in stone.
