  4. depends on where you live......how much rent and/or mortgage you hafta pay.....the amount of electricty you would use and stuff like that............it is very hard to say!!!!!!

  5. Speaking as a person renting with my partner..... rent €800, electricity around €20, Broadband & phone €35, TV €40, Food about €400 (once you don't eat out or get takeaway...ever!).

    Car, credit card, loan for furnishing all on top.



    Total for a one bed apartment..... Too Much!

  6. im not too sure about the actual figures but thanks to the celtic tiger, we the ordinary folk are being slaughtered.  foreign investement is going to put mr and mrs seamus average in the poorhouse.

  8. I live in Dublin I'd say probably costs about € 2000.00, but my mortgage isn't that big compared to others.

  9. All depending on your location and the size of youe moetage your talking anywhere from 1,200 to 3,000 again depending on the size of the family , etc .

  11. Rent could easily be 1000 euro a month - phone another 30 or more, gas/electricity another hundred or so, food depends on what you eat, but probably another couple of hundred.

  12. I was talking to my dad about this the other day..

    Morgage, bills, insurance, groceries, and misc expenses for a family of six..my dad says he spends 8000euro a month!

    ......good thing he has a decent job!
