Anywhere from 150-5000 dollars. They can come from just a stray (150) or from total champion lines (1000-5000)

They could be free, if someone just found a pregnant abandoned dog, and dont know anything about pups, or if their dogs had pups by accident

Jack Russells only come in ONE size..  there are no "mini" versions.

Average price depends..  from a shelter under $150..  from a rescue $100-300..

from a breeder, for a pet.. Im not real sure on exact prices.. but depending on bloodlines, I'd expect to pay $350-800.

For a show-quality animal probably $1,000-2,500.

Dont buy from websites like "epups" and "puppyfind".. there's nothing but back yard breeders and puppy millers on those websites.  Either find one from a rescue.. there's plenty JRTs out there..  www.petfinder.com  or get a referral from the breed club  http://www.therealjackrussell.com/index....

miniature means either mixed with a smaller dog (e.g. chi) or two runts mixed. don't buy one. go to the shelter and adopt one. go on petfinder and search for a jack russell. too many homeless dogs to be supporting breeders. fyi: i have a jack russell and they are the most hyper dog i have ever seen! so be prepared if that is what you go for. post another question if you want anybody to help you find another rescue in your area. wouldn't you like to save a life?

There is no such thing as a 'miniature' JRT... Those are just BYB known as puppy mills who breed very small unhealthy dogs. Please adopt a dog, you will be saving a life and all breeders are different with prices depending on alot of stuff.

I would think anywhere from $300-$1000 depends on where you are. I bred JRT's for many years and happily own 2. Be sure to educate yourself on the breed personality. These are very demanding dogs and they are a little hard to train. They will become the love of your life with proper training and lots of attention.
