  1. depends of each state...

  2. there really is no "average price"..everything depends on the size..from the number of beds/bath..location...etc

  3. It depends on the area. In suburban Ohio, you can snag a house nowadays for $60-$130k or even cheaper. In Washington DC, a small crappy house will cost you at least $700,000 to $1,200,000.

  4. Depends on where you are looking to buy. I would say about $200,000

  5. I think the answer is pi (π).

  6. six bucks.

  7. $299K

  8. too much.

  9. Try http://www.zillow.com and zoom in on the area you're inquiring about.

  10. 200,000

  11. 190,000 is the average

  12. well in cali its prob aboout average 300,00+ crazy huh!

  13. 163,579.52

  14. it depends on the area ranges from 30,000 to 20,000,000

  15. well now they are form $300,000 to $400,000. they really dropped. and they are SUPER cheap in arizona.

  16. I would guess right around $200,000

  17. I live in New York City. About 600,000 will get you an average home.

  18. It looks like it is around $250,000.  Although the link doesn't include 2008, I'd pretty much say that any gains in 2008 have already been wiped out.

  19. idk

  20. It depends on location. I own a $90,000 condo in Michigan, it's the same size as my parents $1,200,000 condo on Ft. Myers Beach in Florida. The most expensive real estate in the country is in Manhattan New York. High Rise apartments in Trumps Tower are selling for as much as $40,000,000 and don't even have a yard. However, I saw a statistic on the news yesterday that stated the national average for mortgages was $343,000.

However, there is a housing crisis in the U.S. sub prime loans have pushed foreclosures to an all time high. Banks are selling them for 30-70% less than their original value. This has forced prices to well below what most people owe on them. That $90,000 condo of mine was selling for $150,000 2 years ago and it's only going to get worse. I owe $115,000 on the mortage.

  21. in Cali.. about 400,000 starters..

  22. in the Square States its really cheap to live,on the coastal areas its between $175,000 to $400,000

  23. Price data published by the National Association of Realtors, based on the prices of houses sold in a given year, have also never declined. According to the association, the median home price is now about $220,000.

  24. There's too wide a range. It depends on the house.
