  1. I have just found a very luxury wedding dress. The the style is the 2008 new connection , and the price is very reasonable , in a word , this is the paradise of the wedding dress that include the <a href="http://www.kanaccasbridal.com/shop... 2. From doing lots of searches, it really seems that the vast majority of styles can be gotten from 400 and up. Seems like an average from most on here seem to be close to the 1k range. Of course, you can get dresses for 100, but the more classic - or conversely, trendy - styles tend to be higher.

For myself, I didn't have a price in mind, because I'm on the fluffy side, I wasn't sure what I would find out there! Found a perfect gown for me, and it was just under 800 - so with alterations and headpiece/veil, was 1000.

  3. I believe the "average is $500-$1,000...... I wouldn't pay more then $200.00..

    good luck to you. :)

  4. I got my brand new wedding dress, ivory and gorgeous for the fab price of £112 off an Ebay bidding page. The place where these dresses are made auction them off but also you can 'buy it now' I think my dress would have been £230 full price which itself is a bargain. The dress is gorgeous and they have so many different ones to choose from.

Good luck and enjoy your day

  5. It really depends on your budget and your tastes.  My fiance gave me a ridiculous budget, so I checked out a variety of gowns in a huge range of prices.  I, personally, could not find any dress that suited my tastes in the over $1000 range, because I wanted something simple, sweet and elegant.  In the end, my final three choices were all under $1000, but I didn't know that when I made my final selection.  I was buying based on style and not price.  My final choice was a gown that cost less than $600 and I'm really happy with my selection.  I saved a great deal and still got a gown that I love.

    Best wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I paid £1540 for my wedding dress earlier this year and then split up with my fiance so didn't even get the chance to wear it, hence the reason I'm now selling it at less than half price, shame really but if you love the dress enough you will pay whatever it takes to get it

  7. I read recently that a Girl bought a Brand new wedding dress off Ebay for £2.50, however when I got married I paid over £2000 for my dress if I really wanted the dress the cost would not concern me, your dress your budget , your choice.

  8. It just depends on how much you love the dress. If you really love a dress then I guess you would spend the money for it if you have it to spend. But you can find beautiful pre-owned gowns or sample gowns that you can get for a fraction of the cost and look like you spent thousands of dollars on it. A good shop to try is www.shellyleppertdesigns.com, they have beautiful pre-owned, new, and sample gowns at great prices.

  9. I had budgeted about 1200 for mine, but the one I loved that made me feel like a bride was only 600.   It made me love the dress even more.

  10. There can't really be an average price as it an get to ridiculous amounts, i paid 450 for mine but a friend got hers for 150 in a bridal shop closing down sale. It's all about where you look. It has to be the perfect dress at the end of the day and you shouldn't compromise on that.

Just remember to budget for alterations!!!

  11. I think the average price is around $1400.  I wouldn't pay for than $500 though.  I got mine on sale for $89.00!

  12. My dress was worth £900 but managed to get it for £400.  its a maggie sottero dress and i bought it out of an award winning bridal shop, so i kno its not a rip off!

i would have paid anything between 400 and 1000 for a dress :)

  13. Personally.. depends on how much income I was on at the time and if i could afford to.

If i was stretched with cash about £2,000

but i'd say the average price was like £1,000 being realistic unless you wanted something like Katie Prices lol

  14. I wouldn't pay over $800 but I found my dress (and LOVE it) from David's Bridal for $599.  They always have some amount off of the dress too so it's worth a shot to look there if you have one near you.

  15. There was something in the paper about the average cost of weddings in general recently and I think the average for a dress came in as £750. Personally I want to pay as little as possible for one I like. I found a medieval dress website which hand makes beautiful gowns for around £75. I am getting mine and my bridesmaid's dress from there.

  16. round bout 500 2 a 1000

  17. usually the average price for a dress can be from 0 to 5000. depending on what you want. I got a 2000.00 wedding dress, but lucky i don t have to pay for it, one of my family member is paying for it.

  18. ave price would be 1200.

    I wouldn't pay no more than 500.

  19. $1505.

    My max is $500.

  20. anything u wanna speand i suppose, mine cost £900, what a rip off i know, most people spend alot of money on a wedding, certainly isnt cheap...i say get married in a registary office, its all the same at a fraction of the price

  21. Wedding dresses have a pretty large price range. David's Bridal goes as low as $99 and some Vera Wang's go for $14,000. I've even seen a wedding down that went for $24,000,000 (yes, million) I'm spending $5,500. It really all depends on your budget. Good Luck!!

  22. Average price will vary by area but last I heard the average overall was about $1400.

I bought mine for $850. I didn't have a budget, I just wanted to find "The Dress".

My SiL had her dress made by my mom for $32. She also had no budget but had very specific specifications (long, ivory, lace overlay, short sleeves, no train, etc)

My BFF had her dress made by my mom for $125.

It really will vary by style, area and designer/brand.

  23. Average price I would say about $1,500. I found the dress of my dreams for $600.

  24. The average price of wedding dresses in general is probably pretty high because of all the couture dresses and high fashion designers with outrageous prices.

The average that an American spends on a wedding dress is about $1000. (Some sources say $800, the Knot says $1300) One thousand was also my max amount, but I was able to get a discount, so it ended up being less. However, those prices don't include alterations, which are usually between $150 and $300.

Additionally, in the bridal industry, it's standard practice for them to try to get you to spend the same amount of money on accessories (veil, bustier, shoes, hairpiece, jewelry) as you did on your dress. It doesn't have to be that expensive if you comparison shop or find things online (ebay). I think I payed less than $100 for all of my accessories.
