  1. Depends on if you buy it or you make it yourself.  You really won't save much by buying it from the pump.  You are just contributing to the enviornment if you do this, and not to mention getting us away from OPEC.  In most places you would be looking at .10 more than regular diesel (petrol).  If you make it yourself, you can make it for about .90.  It depends on how much you pay for your Methanol or Ethanol.  If you are scared about doing it yourself, check out www.journeytoforever.org  They have some plans for biodiesel on how it works and plans for some reactors.  It is a fairly simple process, once you get the hang of it.

  2. i really dunno,

but here in the philippines it costs i think 34 pesos / liter X_X

  3. Very near the cost of diesel.

  4. According to the Department of Energy (DOE), as of March 2007, biodiesel costs just a few cents more than regular disel, and about 10 cents more than regular gasoline.  The cost of biodisel changes frequently like other fuels depending on supply and demand.

There are differend "blends" or flavors of biosiesel.  The cheapest blend of biodisel is going for about $2.66/gallon.  Ethanol is around around 2.11/gallon.

The link below can take you to the DOE's March 2007 report.
