  1. Birmingham?? Which station to begin with, snow hill, new street, international, or one of the smaller stations? Also what time and which day? Any discount cards? back same day or another? iwhat time are you coming back? can you book the train in advance and get a cheaper fare, or do you want a full Open ticket for any train? Do you want standard or first class? Which maidstone station do you require? East, West or Barracks? How many changes do you require?

All these questions to be answered before we could even get to the pricing of the journey.

  2. check it out

  3. I live near Maidstone in Kent but never heard of bham is it in India near a call centre

  4. Assuming 'bham' to be Birmingham then a saver return is £51.60, and standard open return £152 and a first open return £246 (without any railcard deductions) which, by the magic of my always right, never wrong, windows calculator makes the average return cost £149.87 - but no one ever pays that, they choose one of the three options quoted.

Calculated from New Street - thetrainline didn't want to know which Maidstone station so I assume they are all the same fare.
