There is no easy answer to this.  What you can do is go to the annual reports for major retailers and they should have the sales per square foot.  You might try googling this as well.  Just use the keywords and some of the company announcements might pop up.  Different stores have different traffic models as well so a free standing might have different revenue per square foot than a mall.
