  2. Hiya,

In awnser to your question, I cannot give you an average, but if you log onto www.payscale.com they can do you a customer report with the salaries of posts that you want to apply for in the future. Hope I helped, and good luck with the job

  3. In Scotland a qualified nursery nurse would start at £12,000 - 18.000 a year in a local authority nursery with all the school holidays. It is very rewarding working with the children they have a great sense of humour and tell some stories. It does cheer you up if you've had a rubbish weekend just going into work with children their smiling faces. Who needs money LOL.

  4. It's about £11,500 - £14,000 this is if you are qualified at NVQ 3 level, it would be lest if you are NVQ 2. Also it does depend on where you live.

  5. i have been qualified for nearly 2 years i earn £5.80 for the amount of responsibility u have i dont think nursery nurses earn enough but this is the type of job where u dont do it for money it is more rewarding

  6. not alot thats why after i had been qualified for 4 years i went back to uni! i started on £4.50 in 2001 and eventually worked up to £5.70. obviously it depends where u r working-im from south wales.

  7. I agree its more about doing a job you love, than doing it for the money. I'm a 2 - 3 year old room leader, lots of responsibility - but only £6.00 an hour.
