iron usually bought by the ton...so expect around $420 per ton for #1 steel.  Prices do fluctuate, try http://www.scrapmetalpricesandauctions.c... for current iron prices as well as pricing on other grades of iron and steel

I couldn't tell you in fl. But more so you would have to say if you're buying or selling.

Here is Oregon it's around 30-50 cents to buy. Around 2 cent to sell. (they sell by the ton)
