What is the average size for a moors goldfish?

I have a moor goldfish and it is very fat and it is about 3 inches from head to tail. what is the lifespan for one and how big do they usually get.

  1. Kept properly they grow to about 8" long and will live 10 to 15 yrs.  It would need to be in a minimum of a 20 gallon tank with good filtration to reach that.  If they are kept in smaller tanks their body can't grow but their internal organs will keep growing and they eventually die of organ failure.
