  1. In Paris which is in the North the average temperature is 22 degrees Celsius/72 degrees Fahrenheit. Average rainfall is 56 millimeters, or 2.2 inches.

In Nice which is in the south on the Mediterranean  the average temperature is 20 degrees Celsius/68 degrees Fahrenheit. Average rainfall is 39 millimeters, or 1.5 inches.

  2. Well, the average temperatures are one thing, the actual ones another.

In the past years, temperatures and weather in June have varied a lot from extreme heat episodes (2005 if I remember well) to cold and rainy periods (2007).

So in you case I would bring clothes for both warm and cold weather.

  3. What I can tell you about weather in southern France is to bring a jacket, shorts, umbrella, short sleeve shirt, long sleeve shirt, sandals, tennis shoes, and a swim suit.

Why so many contrasting articles of clothing, you ask? Well, it's because the south has chaotic episodes of weather and you never really know what you're going to get until you land there.

  4. i didn't look up the exact temperatures but what the person above said looks about right. i've been in the summer to both north and south france. i generally felt good wearing short sleeve shirts and shorts or capri length pants. the thing is, that it can get really windy and cold sometimes so you need to pack a couple of sweaters, a jacket, and a couple of long pants. you also should have some stuff for if it gets really hot. the temperature can really range depending on the time of day and the wind. hope you have fun!
