  1. To be honest, nobody has a clue!  The British weather is famous for its utter unreliability.

Traditionally after a hot summer, the weather breaks in time for the August Bank holiday where people are stuck in the traffic in hot sticky weather and then it rains hard as soon as they get on the beach.

September is usually cool and often wet - reckon on about 10C - 15C as a guide and bring an umbrella.  Having said that, there could be a heatwave.  I've never known it snow in September, but who knows - if you climb a peak in your bikini, it might just be enough to set it off.

September is one of my favourite months for weather all the same. Still enough light and the summer heat (Ha! Ha!) is not completely gone, and yet it is cool enough to work or to walk or do things all day without overheating.

  2. September can be a pretty gorgeous month, actually. Be prepared for a little rain - you're in the UK after all :) But often it can be quite warm and sunny - as soon as everyone has to go back to school and work, the sun comes out. It's a bit of a lottery though, some years it's lovely, other years it's terrible. Also, I'm assuming if you're in Derbyshire, you're in the Peak District where there's often little micro-climates, so it's impossible to know really.

    Have fun in Derbyshire!

  3. Bl@@dy cold.

And its pouring down and very windy here just now. It always is.

    It hardly ever stops.

I wouldnt bother if I were you, haha!

Derbyshire? Bloody h**l, thats even worse than here!! haha!
