Cold, but you can check the current weather and weather forecasts  anywhere in the world in yahoo weather. Its pretty cool. I am Spanish and our weather is not so different from London (sorry don't know about rest of England)...winter is cold, summer is hot, the rest are in between.February will be cold, unless you have a "lucky week" ;)

If the last 4 winters are anything to go by it will be quite cold ,probably peaking on average to about 16 c with the odd day a little warmer ,and nights down to approaching freezing .2 winters ago my pool was froen over and we had snow that was just 30.mins inland of Alicante,so if you are thinking of coming over bring your woolies,the only bright spot is it will probably be better weather than in England.

With the actual weather it's going to be a bit impossible to find out the weather.  I'm from that region of Spain, and i hope I can help you.  If you mean Alicante city you are going to need a coat, it won't be many rain, probably none, but don't forget the coat.  if you want to go to Benidorm, about 20 minutes driving north of Alicante town, it might be a bit warmer, but you will still need a coat, a bit lighter but you'll need a coat.  And if you want to go inland it will be colder.  I went home for Christmas and i was snowing and this week I spoke with my sister and she said that she was not wearing even a light jacket.  As you can see, the weather now over there is a bit crazy and it will be till April.  Good luck!!!!
