  1. Well my schedual is...

    5 times a week

    2 hours freeskate

    1 hour dance

    1 hour skills

    1 hour volenteer coaching

    ------------------------------------

out of all that time i spend 1 hour with my private coach, the rest is practice alone.

    Off ice

    ---------

I usually do it for atleast an hour at my house, working on flexibility and practicing my jumps at home.

Then i run 4km a day in the summer to stay in shape during the off season.

Seasons usually start on the first day of school and end around the end of june, begining of july.

  2. This was the schedule my daughter was on.

    On Ice

    6 days a week

3-4 hours a day usually split am and pm

working on moves, spins  and jumps

double runs on your program couple times a day

    **************************************...

    Off ice

(once or twice a week each)

    ballet

    Off ice jumps

    *****************************

    Off ice conditioning  which includes...

Tread mill or cycling 30-60 minutes

Sit up or crunches for building your core 30 minutes

    Light weights for upper body

Alternate the day for weights and cardio

The key to being successful  is to be consistent. Especially on your double run thoughs.

  3. hmm, I'm no expert, but I would expect 2-4 hours a day, 6 days a week on ice. Off ice every day that includes jump training, flexibility training, core stability etc.
