  1. The average DC voltage avilable at the output of a full wave rectifier is

    = (2 x Vm)/Pi = (2 x 100)/3.14159... = 63.662 volt

  2. this is one of those numbers you memorize- 63.2%, or 63.2 volts...

  3. Average value = 1/pi * integral from 0 to pi, of 100sin(w) * dw

    integral from 0 to pi, of 100sin(w) = -100* (cos(pi) -cos(0)) = -1 -(-1) *-100 = 200

    Answer: 200/pi

    .

  4. the average voltage is 63.7 percent of the peak

    voltage: 100* 0.637=63.7 volts
