  1. Umm not much. Some babys can say kinda mom and dad but not much. Lol. You should ask your pediatrian.

  2. I just happened to read my daughter's baby book this week and by that age she said

    mama

    dadda

    book

    bye bye

    duck

    ball

    more

    up

    ma (for Grandma)

and just a couple more that aren't coming to mind but these were not all crystal clear or anything.  Take into account if your child is male or female, too.  Girls usually develop their verbal skills faster.

  3. Refer Picture Dictionary for children.

  4. very basic things like....kitty (but it sounds like "key" when they say it

ba ba     "uh-oh" is popular, LOL

  5. It varies A LOT. I only started talking at 18 months, where as my sister started at 9 months (but then again shes a genius who potty trained herself)

  6. There are no "average" 12 month old children, each one is an individual and each one develops language skills and different rates.

  7. Babies can already learn words before one year.

They understand but haven't learned how to make sentences.

Can't articulate or haven't the ability to speak yet.

  8. mama

    dada

    boo boo

    choo choo

    baba

    gaga

    goo goo

    facicious

    franklin delano roosevelt....lol
