I'm planning on working in San Diego and living in Tijuana. I will be driving to work and need to be there by 9 A.M. Monday through Friday. I'll be working around Sorrento Valley.

  1. I really varies,  but around Sorrento Valley, to be on the safe side you should plan on 1 to 1.5 hours of wait time, plus 30 minutes from the border to Sorrento Valley, assuming you don't hit traffic.

  2. well it depends what time in the AM.

theres heavy times and lighter times.

I would say an average of 50-75 cars ahead of u in the am. about 40min to an hour wait.

but since your gonna be a constant traveler, theres the sentri program that u take advantage for a fee.(if u qualify)

its much much quicker, average wait is about 20 minutes if that. sometimes there aint no wait.

check out some info about it here...
