  1. Most of the growth charts I know of are here:

  2. My daughter was 8 pounds and 5 ounces at birth.  At almost three months, she's about 14.5 pounds.  She is 97th percentile for height and weight, so she's doing very well and is not overweight.  I love to throw this info in the face of the members of my family who were against me breastfeeding, saying breastfed babies "just don't get enough."  Ha!  :)

  3. it really depends on what your baby weighed at birth a newborn can gain up to an ounce a day, there is really no average my baby was born 11 pounds 7 ounces and now he is almost 4 months old weighing almost 17 pounds. It depends.

  4. My son was born 6lbs 12oz and at his two month checkup he weighed 12lbs 4oz. And he was in the 90% so he is a bit bigger than most baby's his age.

  5. Depends on the child

My sister had a ten plus new born

I had a friend that had a five pound baby

If you start out with a big baby, at three months, it still should be big

If you start out with a small baby, at three months, it still should be small

My daughter was 18 pounds at four month, a friend son was not 18 pounds until he was ten months

The weight also should go with height

A longer baby should weight more than a shorter baby
