What is the average weight of a bmx bike?

I have a bmx bike and I think its a little to heavy. and i dont dont know if i should get rid of it and buy a better one. so what is the average weight of a bmx bike?

Your looking at 7-12 pounds. 12 being the avg.

yea the first person is off, 25 to 30 lbs and 30 is pushing  it

wow, the first guy is wayyy off. Your looking at somewhere between 27 and 34 lbs

yeah, i have a 29 lb Haro F2 from '04, and its fine.  It gets done what i want it to get done

it is NOT 12 pounds lol. its a miracle bike if its 12 pounds..average is 25-30 pounds.
