  1. instead of me telling you, here is a website you can calculate because it is different for everyone. it goes by age, height, and gender. http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/usefultoo...

    hope it helps

  2. If you want to be more on the sickly-skinny side then yeah, that's the ideal weight.

The 'healthy' range would be around 130-150 for a 5'7

  3. About 125 pounds...

  4. From shapefit.com:

There is actually no ideal or specific weight you should be relative to your height. The real factor you want to focus on is your overall body fat percentage. For example, someone who is your current height/weight, could have 35% body fat with a small amount of lean muscle. On the other hand, you could take another person with the exact same height/weight but they have 15% body fat and a higher level of lean muscle. Don't be worried too much about what the scale reads. Focus on fueling your body with nutrient dense food, building lean muscle with strength training and burning the fat off with cardio workouts. This way you will have a lean and toned physique no matter what your weight is.

The minimum percent body fat considered safe and acceptable for good health is 5% for males and 12% for females. The average adult body fat is closer to 15%-18% for men and 22%-25% for women. You can review this article which explains how to calculate your body fat percentage:

  5. for women of height 5' 7" there ideal weight can vary from 54kgs to 70kgs i.e. 119pounds to 154pounds. this is according to BMI calculator. A KG less or more is either underweight or overweight.

  6. for a female i'd say 120-130 pounds is good, a doctor would probably say more along the 130 though.

  7. I believe it's anywhere from 125 to about 150.

  8. I'm 41 and 5'7".  I average between weights.  Now I am at 127-130.  I am also stressed, haven't eaten in days and sick.  Go figure.  My winter weight (Christmas and Thanksgiving) is 140--145.  I am not slight of bone, but am not large, either.

I was told that it's more determined on your bone size and body fat (BMI) than anything else.

120lbs is a bit small, even for me.  Too small causes leg cramps and unhealthy eating habits.

  9. about that. I'm 5'7" and 120lbs, and pretty d**n' skinny
