What is the balance of nature?

The balance of nature is how things even out.  If the prey is scarce, predators will lower their rate of reproduction.  When prey is plentiful, they reproduce more.

The true balance of nature is not allowing depletion - on man, the mind, the body, and the spirit, on earth? natural resources and pristinity. This is a voluminous and detailed subject and in four lines, or four hundred pages, or forty million volumes of books cannot be explained. Good to be here on earth. :) as long as the balance is there.
