  1. The formula for volume of a pyramid is:

    V = 1/3 (area of base) x (height)

    There are many answers that would work.  For example the base could be 100 ft. x 100 ft. and the height could be 300 ft.

    Or you could have the base be 200 ft. x 200 ft and the height could be 75 ft.

    You need to specify more about the slope of the pyramid or some other constraints.


  2. Okay, so the formula for finding the volume is 1/2b times h=v, right?

    So the base would be 4, the height would be 500,000.

    [there's probably other answers...this is what i thought of first.]

    Half of the base(4), is 2. 2x500,000=1mil
