  1. Depends on the type and location. Look into venues in your area to see what you want and what you can afford  with your budget.

  2. Are you asking just room rental or average 150-person reception?  More details needed.

  3. This is not a question that can be answered with the few details you gave. It depends on the location of the venue and the level of formality. There are bowling alleys which have back rooms to use for weddings and there are 5 star hotels for the same purpose. There is a huge range of cost.

  4. this is very hard to answer.

If you mean your average VFW Hall type location the rental for the room is probably $300 - $1,000.  Also, your location might impact the answer.  In New York City a hall might rent for $2k or $3k that you could get for much less somewhere else.

SOME reception halls, in addition to the rental, require you to use their food service.  SOME halls won't charge you a rental because it is rolled into the price of the food & service you are paying.

My reception hall has a $300 rental fee and I must use their food service which is a per person price.  I am located in Central PA (if you are in the area I'd be glad to recommend them to you if you would e-mail me).

  5. 400 and up.But at a park, some are free and some start at 45 bucks.
