What is the battery life of a wii remote?

my wii remote drains the battery really fast, this is the third week I am testing it and it lasted only for 5 days. I didnt play my wii too much, I only used the internet channel for about 1 hour and the rest of the life was drained when it was not working. How long does your wii battery last, do you think something wrong is with my wii remote, I originally thought it was a battery problem but now I am pretty sure that it is the wii remote that is causing this because they work just fine in my game boy color without draining too fast.

It sounds like your batteries are bad, I would suggest getting the Charge Station, I never have any problems with my Wiimotes going dead, I charge them every night when I go to bed. Wii remote batteries die FAST, but what you're describing sounds abnormal.  Mine die in under five days, but they're in use many hours a day.

Everyone I know who has a Wii eventually goes rechargeable.  They're hungry little wiimotes!

Depends on the battery, get rechargeable batteries, they seem to  last quite a while with me.
