  1. Not exactly a short answer question....

We were kickied out of the garden... and somehow two people produced 6 billion without all of us somehow suffering serious genetic defects...

More realistically, there was a type of primate that probably became separated from the rest of their species in africa when the great rift valley formed. They probably would not have been able to stay in the trees to support their diets they thus had to climb down to find food. More than likely the ones that would have survived to reproduce would be those who were able to process the new food sources that were available or who could outrun predators (remember this is pure luck-mutation is the key to evolution). These would have been very minor mutations usually, over the span of many generations would have resulted in a totally different species than the original. Eventually, in their migrations for new food sources, proto-humans would have moved out of Africa and into Asia, Europe and the Americas. It has been found that there are several branches of humanoids that come from our part of the primate tree, though they are all gone now obviously. What probably preceeded or rise to preeminence on this planet was first, the ability to process meat. Predatory animals have more developed brains and the higher fat and protein diets would have allowed us to support much better brains than our competitors. With this would then come the development of a more advanced language, tools, domestication of animals, development of an agrarian society, better organization, weapons... and thus the end for anything that opposed us... that is how we came to be

And jake... which type of man are you talking about? I was speaking of the earliest homonids... not modern man, I doubt we simply showed up able to use metals over two million years ago... which would be just about before the first homonids appeared in Africa.. at least so far...

  2. there are just so many scientific theories that evolved about your topic.

But i am darn sure, that the beginning of life, on only on earth, but also on other planets, solar systerms, milky way and in different parts of the universe (which modern science hasn't discovered yet) are intricately involved with the nature of higher beings - i dont want to use the word GOD here, since we tend to use our limited scope of knowledge defined and agreed by religous people to define GOD.

If the universe is so vast, think about it, can human - residing on this tiny dot called earth - define it based on what we know in this tiny dot, among other great galaxies in the universe?

Prof/ Hawking can talk about the big bang, Darwin can talk about the evolution from apes to modern day human... but theories are aferall theories.

But the danger of theories are that, ppl are using these theories (whether validated true or not) to come up with their own theories. So one incorrect deology leads the development of yet another wrong theory. And If an everyday people from outside the religious and scientific sphere were to rebutt or question these theories using simple logic, they would get 'arrowed' for questioning convetional understanding...

Isnt anything that go against what most people 'feel' is right or has been theorized by scientists/religious scholars, met with heavy resistence from die-hard traditional old school mindsets?

    This is my own understanding.

I like this book - Zhuan Falun - It really opens my heart and breath of mind. You can d/l for free at www.falundafa.org

  3. read the bible

  4. Read the first book of the Bible, Genesis, and make a decision on your own.

Check out all the options for yourself, and see which is most probable and you believe, that is the only way to know.

Thats why l believe in Creation, none of the other explanations make sense. You look deep enough into all other explanations, and theories, and you will find flaws.

  5. If this is the anthro section.. why are you asking for some original story?  This is a science section.

  6. I was pushed out of the womb by a pushy twin brother.  I was smacked on the butt but did not cry.  I think I was just a little confused by moving from my nice warm place into a bunch of lights with a doctor holding me upside down and smacking my backside.  It was an auspicious beginning for this man's life.

  7. Mankind originated in Indonesia, not Africa, and we expanded and kept searching for food and new environments to exist within until we reached the western shore of the Euro continent!  The rest is recorded history! There is proof of mans existence in Indonesia with the tin mines and various basket weaves as the earliest indications of man!
