  1. This is one of the great debates. If an asexually reproducing organism passes on all of its genes, and asexually reproducing one only half, then there should be at least a twofold benefit to sexual reproduction to offset this. There have been many ideas suggested, a good starting point is at

  2. The reason God designed reproduction is probably to big for a human to grasp. I think we could speculate on a few.

    1. Our God:  The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is relational. He made reproduction to be a relational experience for us. He loves us and He wants us to experience many things of His very nature.

    2. Another benefit is that there wil be more variation available. There is a certain amount of pre-programed or built it variation in a kind of animal. Through sexual reproduction, dominate or recessive genes can be expressed or made dormant in even more ways then with only duplication, inversion, deletion, insertion or transposition. Although these methods supply us with more than enough genitic variation, sexual reproduction is more fun.

  3. More variation. Think about, if the environment were too change, organisms would have to evolve, and in order to evolve, organisms will need more varied genes. So the faster they can make their genome more various, the faster they can respond and evolve to a changing environment. s*x scrambles DNA of two organisms instead of one therefor making the end result, an offspring, have more genetic variation. So s*x = more variation whereas asexual reproduction = very little variation. The more variation, the easier it is to evolve. The easier it is to evolve, the faster a species can react to a changing environment. The faster they react, the higher the probability of survival.

  4. The obvious advantage is increased variation.  By having more variation, the species can adapt more quickly and more successfully to envrironmental changes.

The reason for the greater variation is that you don't rely on mutations alone to provide changes between generations.  With asexual reproduction, the offspring is an exact copy of the parent except in the relatively rare case of a mutation.  With sexual reproduction, there doesn't have to be a mutation, and the offspring will still be different from either parent.

  5. More variation will result in the offspring on which natural selection can act.

  6. Asexual reproduction cannot reshuffle genes like sexual reproduction can. If we just divided, or budded, offspring would be genetically identical, barring the occasional mutation. But the genetic mixing from sexual reproduction combines genes from each parent.

    This also helps beat parasites.

  7. Self reproducing organisms are not more than clones, they really have little chance to change. Bisexual gives the advantage of passing on improved, mutated genes.

  8. reproduction by 2 sexes gives chance to variation in adjectives and charachteristics for overcoming any variation from outer environment for keepind mankind alive.Another cause is work that how one s*x can be pregnant and work then take care of children and work at the same time
