  1. Well, it is costly. But if you are having a big wedding, they will help you with EVERYTHING. You won't have to worry about calling to check up on things, you won't have to stress (as much), and it will make your wedding so much easier for you.

Plus! They have ideas you wouldn't think of.

  2. If you can afford one get one. It saves you so much stress. The cost for one really depends on the person. They all charge different prices so shop around and let her/him do the worrying for you and have a great wedding.

  3. Hiring one will certainly take alot of stress away from an otherwise difficult occasion.

  4. costly, you might not always get what you want.  and if you are a hands on bride, you want to make alot of the decisions without someone elses opinion not in the family.  sometimes its more of a pain having one than its worth....trust me on that one

  5. Depends on the complexity of the planned event and your (and whomever is helping) skill at coordinating / planning and  negotiating. You have alot to coordinate. Also depends on how much time you have.

  6. if you shop around with a list of things you like them to do, then you can get the best price. I would hire one, because they can save you so much stress, and sometimes get you discounts with vendor, and make arrangements for you like decorations, appointments ect. And on the day of, they organize everything so you don't have to worry. They may ask you for a reference after the event is over, so they'll work hard to make sure its a good one.

  7. Depends on teh type of people you are.

Planners help organize, find diffeerent options, better deal, and know most vendors and have working realtionships with them.

Its less work for you and more time relaxing.

Planners can also do as much or as little as you need!

  8. If you can afford it do it , I did not and i am up late  5 days before my big day  doing a seating plan and that sort of thing . Its a lot of stress trying to please every one . I am told it all works out in the end
