What is the benefit of incorporating in california vesus vegas?

i see it is cheaper outside of my own state to incorporate but i am not understanding the benefits. we are trying to open a business in the next 3 months provided we can obtain some sort of funding but california is higher then vegas. Is there a reason

~~In California the corporate taxes are much higher and are open to public record. In Nevada, they are lower on taxes and you can keep all the board members private. Be careful of the type of business you are opening though, we wanted to incorporate in Nevada, but my husband is a state licensed contractor. They wouldn't of have issued his licensed to an out of state corporation. So if you have a business which has any type of licensing, check out to see if you will be okay forming your corporation in a different state!~~
