Radon gas is a very low level radioactive gas that seeps from certain areas of our planet, often above granite. I do not know of any benefits of radon, except perhaps that people are cautious about building in such areas due to the health risk, and so one gets a bit of undisturbed nature here and there.

Radon gas is dangerous to most mamals, but only over time and when it is in large concentrations, such as one gets in modern, relatively airtight houses and buildings.
