What is the bes tv that is available on the market for consumers?

Out of all the tv's out there which tv is most advanced and produces the best,sharpest,brightest,highest quality images? Is it samsung 7 series or the sony or any other? I'm buying a new tv, i want to buy the best tv available.

RUNCO is TOP OF THE LINE.

If its good enough for George Lucas to screen star wars, then its good enough for you.

No Sony, Pioneer, samsung...whatever......comes close.....especially with VIVIX....

The VIVIX processor IS the interface for the tv....it takes care up upscaling downscaling, color and input.....best of all....you can replace the vivix......if they get hdcp happy and come up with a new standard....

The Sony XBR is the absolute balls to the wall best tv on the market.

These sets are very expensive but will be well worth the price.  The tv in the first link actually upscales all signals (even if it's just standard definition) without the need for a HD cable box.

Runco may be the best, but for consumer grade, you can't beat the Pioneer plasmas.

The Samsung series 7 isn't even the best Samsung on the market.  It looks like a toy compared to the 81f series.

The best tv available to consumers is the Pioneer Elite Plasma.  It is perfect in every way.

If you are looking for the brightest image you need to look at the xbr series from Sony but, compared side by side with the Pioneer Elite the sony is a complete joke.
