  1. I've looked at several software packages.  For cheap, but good, I would go with Corel Paint Shop Pro.

For Free, I would look at VicMan software:

VicMan has the best free software (period) and they have numerous programs to choose from.

  2. A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads

A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it's a bit harder to use. If you can't get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:

    Hope that helps.

  3. picasa is popular and free

  4. i would say Photobucket or photoshop both great program don't use free things might cause viruses =/

  5. Corel has an excellent program - Corel Pain Shop Pro.

*Download pictures from your camera automatically

*Instantly fix common problems such as red eye, color and sharpness

*Add special effects to photos, text and projects with a few simple clicks

*Use advanced editing tools to fine-tune images on your own

*Print, email and share photos online

you can edit photos and artwork. They offer a free trial, and afterwards the purchase price is only $49.99

I am not an experienced photo or graphic designer and I have been using this product for years with great success.
