  1. If you are planning to routinely ride distance ( over 30 miles or so) on the freeway get a bigger bike. Why wring out a 250 when you can buy a 500 ?

  2. Probably Kymco Venox.

  3. I have a Kymco Venox and use it on the interstate all the time and ride two up a lot. Never  have a problem runs fine at 75 and gets 60+ miles per gallon, And it is comfortable unlike a play race motorcycle. Before  you  buy a UM go to a Hyosung

which is  a UM with out the big price. UM rebadges a Hyosung and sellls them for more money. Hyosungs are good motorcycles also.

  4. I drive my 2002 ninja 250 on the interstate all the time. It easily keeps up with traffic and is probably about 50% faster than my 2001 ford escort that I drive when i'm not on my bike.

And i get about double the gas mileage of my car. 30x2 = 60mpg. Good providence!

  5. ninja 250r

i think with a 140 pd person it can go over 105 mph

    no need to go faster

  6. see below

  7. ninja 250 is probably your best bet in that class

  8. Just another recommendation for the 250 Ninja. But assuming you are inquiring about an off road bike the xl 250 is manageable. The rebel is surprisingly comfortable for a small bike. If I had to choose a commuter bike the Foresite 250 scooter is a very practacle ride.

  9. 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R

    MSRP* $3,499
