  1. Pay bills online and use a debit card instead of writing checks. Also, when you get gas fill-up, don't just get a few dollars worth or you will be at the gas pump 4-5 times a week and waste a lot of time. If you do not have direct deposit for your paycheck then get it. You will seldom ever have to waste time at the bank again.

  2. Plan what you need to do before it becomes urgent.

Write down evrything you need to do and then prioritise it.

You will find it much more relaxing and satisfying when you complete all your jobs.

  3. Keep a "to do" list! My dad calls it his brain. He has lost his brain a few times and boy, things get ugly then.

Seriously, keep a list so you know what you need to do that day and what can wait until the next day, etc.

  4. As already said:

Plan it out, Write it down

My Husband put this quote  on a plaque above our computer desk:

    Quote of the day.........

"Failure to plan on your part, Does not constitute an Emergency on my part"

    ..........Anon

  5. Don't procrastinate.

  6. Make a list of EVERYTHING that needs doing and put a number at the side to denote it's importance.

I find it helps to rationalize my thoughts and focus on what is significant.

I have to do it all the time when I'm writing, or no other work gets done.

  7. Write it down!  Then do it, staying focused on the task until

    it's done.
