What is the best Canon Digital Camera?

I am looking for a new canon camera. I have a canon "a" series, it is about 3 years old now and I would like to upgrade. I like the Canon s5 is, but I am not sure if it is too bulky and it is getting to be an older model. Also, do any canon cameras have a shadow removal feature?
