La Carretta and Las Vegas are the only ones I can really think of in Broward if it would be in Miami Dade I will tell you really good ones.

Definitely Las Vegas restaurant. They have a few locations in and around Fort Lauderdale, including Hollywood, Plantation and North Lauderdale. They have authentic Cuban dishes for decent prices. The food always comes out fast, too!

If not, try La Caretta in Pembroke Pines. It's a little south of Fort Lauderdale but also worth the drive.

Casa Romeu is a great Cuban restaurant originally from Miami. Now there is a location in Davie and Pembroke Pines. They have daily specials, cafe con leche, the best plantains. Check it out!
