What is the best GPS system out there in the market?

I've used Garmin and I hate it. Tells me when to turn at the point I am past the exit ramp, (especially when there are ramps back to back or on either side of the highway). It is like I have to slow down for the device to catch up to me.

But there are too many to choose from, Tom Tom to Megellan, and am confused to what to get.

  1. It really depends on what type of Garmin GPS device you own and how you set up your map details, it is much more than just the device not catching up with the map, the screen refresh rate maybe an issue if you set your map detail to most.

With that said, Garmin currently is the most popular GPS model in NA, selling about 55% of all PND GPS sold in NA.

If you feel Garmin is not for you, consider the TomTom 930 or the Magellan Maestro 4250 or 4050.

It maybe easier for you to rent these GPS first from GPS4Rent to test drive each unit to make sure the unit will function to your expectation before committing to one.

You can find all the models I have described here on Auto Nav 2000 Plus, Inc website at http://www.autonav2000.com/default.asp  or you can visit GPS4Rent and rent one. To find out more about the rental program click on this link http://www.gps4rent.com/

You can't really go wrong with any of the TOP THREE GPS manufacturers Garmin, TomTom and Magellan.

    Good Luck
