gosh it been awhile since I have been to the danforth

The Friendly Greek was always a good place to eat

great food.. but not sure if it is still there.....

oh someone in my work place told me a new place just op-ended

Medesa  sp??  its supposed to be very good

Friendly's is always a great place to get what you expect at a decent price. The food may not be fancy and the service is average, but it is a safe bet to get a meal that you will enjoy and be filled from without worry.

Zorba, on the Danforth just east of Pape, is excellent for a reasonably-priced meal in "nothing special" environment but if you don't mind spending a bit more, I'd opt for The Palace restaurant, just north of the Danforth on Pape.  Just about anything you order at the The Palace will be first rate and the ambiance of the place is authentic.
