Shankers South Indian Cuisine at the corner of Main North & Regency Roads Prospect offers a fine dining experience.

One of the few Indian restaurants in Adelaide that specialise in Southern cuisine.Their Chili Crab Nights are booked out months in advance but they should be able to squeeze you in most other times.

Also, if you're not careful Shanker himself will sit down for a chat and his son is a bit of a walking talking encylopedia when it comes to wine

Ask them about that wonderful group of people that make up what is referred to as the "Residents Table" and say goodday to them on the way out

It would have to be the Jasmin restaurant.  It's renowned to be the premier indian restaurant in Adelaide and one of the best in Australia.  It has been reviewed in the newspaper here and you can read about it on:
