i really want to start over with my make-up and im not sure what brand to get, any ideas?

Do NOT listen to the person who answered above me! Cover Girl is HORRIBLE for your skin! It says that it won't clog your pores, but my cosmetologist says it DOES clog your pores!!!! And you wanna know how CHEAP it is? I just finished putting on my make up, and 5 minutes later, I started crying (because of a family thing.) After 1 tear fell down my cheek, there was a LINE on my face! That means that the Cover Girl make up wipes off EASILY, and isn't long lasting!

well in my opinion i think that different brands each have certain areas of makeup that they are best at and you cant really stick to one brand (like people dont believe in buying anything but mac, so stupid) You have to experiement.

best foundations: covergirl (trublend) amazinggg!! $9!!!!! | Mac (moisture blend) $20-30 i forget

best eyeliner: Maybelline (Define-a-line) $6 | Mac eyeliner is really long lasting! $13

best powder:physicians formula!!!!!!!!(mineral powder)comes in an orb $12

best mascara: ANY OF MAYBELLINES!! COLLOSAL VOLUME EXPRESS, GREAT LASH, OR COVERGIRL LASH BLAST IS REALLY GOOD TOO. all about $7

best primer: RIMMeL FIX AND PERFECT PRIMER $7!!!! IT AWESOME!!

I love i.d. Bare Minerals! It's great and so good for your skin too! Go to you local Ulta store and they'll do it for free so you can try it out.

Cheaper make up,buy cover girl,  Maybeline, and Revlon. Good quality make up, it's more expensive, Urban Decay, M.A.C.,and  Bare Minerals,  I prefer using M.A.C products, although it is a little bit expensive, its really good quality and lasts longer than any drugstore makeup!
