What is the best NASCAR Silly Season year of all-time?

I think it was the 2007-08 Silly Season, because Dale Jr left DEI to join Hendrick Motorsports, replacing Kyle Busch who heads to Joe Gibbs racing, and Joe Gibbs switching from Chevy to Toyota.

There have been other great Silly Season years.

  3. I agree that last year was a darn good silly season.. This year is shaping up to be pretty good as well. I am not too familiar with the exact details of prior years though.

  4. Silly Season? Any year that Dale Jr somhow  manages to pull off a win despite a major lacking of talent and skill
