What is the best NVidia Graphics near $100?

I'm looking for a good graphics card which can run games like Time Shift, Crysis, etc. I want to get an Nvidia produced chip, but don't know what the fastest type is. I would spend around $100 (A little more or less). What's the fastest/best? (a couple of options/explanations would be helpful)*

(My computer is duel core, 3GB ram, 500GB hard drive)

The fastest card you can get for 100 dollars is an ATI 3850. If you want the comparable NVidia card it's the 8600 gt but it is considerably slower than the ATI card.

Dont  buy an NVIDIA card because of the name on the package. Look up the benchmarks, just google " ati 3850 vs 8600 gt. "
