  1. Seriously.

    NEILMED Sinus Rinse

    www.neilmed.com

Best thing for you, even when the problem fixes. I swear by it. It's the equivelent of brushing your teeth for your sinuses if that makes any sense.

  2. Tequila

  3. I buy the generic equivalent of Sudephed at Walmart.  Get the original formula, the one you must ask the pharmacist for and in some states must sign for.

  4. the best thing for post nasal drip is to stop the drip.

    you need an antihistamine.

benadryl is a common one ask the pharmacist ...

the other ideas are good however will do nothing to correct the problem ... the drip.

sudafed is a decongestant (and if anything will cause it to drip more) ...

    C

  5. I would recommend Neilmed Sinus Rinse before Sudafed.  Neilmed is a saline solution and some people respond really well to it.  Sudafed is a drug.  As such, it has to be metabolised in the body before it acts on the nose.  Neilmed acts specifically on the nasal mucosa so it won't interfere with other systems.  Sudafed is also contraindicated if you have high blood pressure as it can speed up the heart rate and increase already high pressure.

There's nothing wrong with taking a drug when you need to but, if there's something less potent that works for you, use it instead.

Good luck with it!  Post-nasal drips are really annoying - not to mention the sensation of it running down your throat! :-)
