What is the best PC game controller out there?

Hi there. I've had an Xbox 360 USB controller for at least a year or two, and the D-Pad is starting to wear out from how often I use it (plus, it doesn't feel like it was made to be used as often as I do). I'm looking to possibly buy a new controller. I know about programs like Joy2Key that let you map keys to certain buttons, so I'm not that concerned about compatibility. What I need is a comfortable, well-built, and reliable controller that stands up over time. Or should I just buy a new 360 controller?

Buy a new 360 Controller,  But make sure its USB wired to your computer.

Also.  They are undaltibly the best controllers out there for the PC .  Comfortable in the hands and ideal for the clicking.
