I will appreciate it if the answerer has experience in this, gives the name of the book, and the reason why it is better than other prep books. Thank you.

  1. I've taken both of those tests.  For the Chemistry test, I used a copy of the Princeton Review's Cracking the SAT II Chemistry book, and I got an 800.  It's a good review of pretty much everything you'd need to get a perfect score on that test, but it definitely also helps to have had a good class, preferably at the AP level.

For the U.S. History test, I used the www.sparknotes.com version of the test prep book, which is free, and it's a pretty thorough overview of the material.  The Princeton Review book for this test is also probably a really good choice, I just didn't happen to use it.  Again, a good course (preferably at the AP level, but I only had an honors level class) is ideal.  I ended up with a 790 on this test.
