What is the best Seine river dinner cruise in Paris?

We are going to Paris from July 15-22nd. We want to do a romantic dinner cruise on the Seine but are on a tight budget. Neither one of us drink alcohol, so the wine list is of little importance. Any suggestions? Should I book before we leave or once we get there?

It is a river cruise without the meal.  Dine before you board the boat.  Much more affordable.

  2. There are many of those dinner cruisers on the Seine, oh gosh I was there last in 03 before the US dollar came crashing down, but I can tell you they were very inexpensive, some of them you board for $10.00 to 20 to 40 dollars, and the meals are not expensive either. There are a lot to choose from.

  3. We went on Bateaux Parisiens and it was wonderful.  It does include 2 bottles of wine, and we don't really drink either, but it came with a wonderful meal, nice live music, and it was romantic and relaxing.  We paid a bit more for a window seat, but you can see well from anywhere on the boat.  The dock is just to the right of the Eiffel Tower facing the river.  We also booked on line in advance and I doubt if it saved anything except our window seats.  Everything was in order, our names were on the list when we arrived and they were very nice.  Dress is nice--we actually saw people turned away because they were too casual, but they were probably walk-ups and didn't know the dress code.

Enjoy the dinner cruise, see Paris light up in front of you and don't worry so much about the cost.  It isn't too bad and well worth the memories.  Just skip paying the €20 for the photo at your table.  We paid €120 each for the window seats and this is the only one we did so its all I can tell you about, but it was wonderful and we loved it on our first night in Paris.  Bonne chance and enjoy whatever you decide.

  4. Any would be good. Its really about the view. I would book ahead of time, should save a few bucks.
