  1. Cambio De Tercio ( 163 Old Brompton Road, London, SW5 0LJ)

This restaurant offers modern Spanish cuisine in warm, chic surroundings. There's a bullfighting theme here, which is reflected in the name of the place, Cambio de Tercio is the shift from one phase of the fight to another. The food avoids the usual tapas options and sticks with starters and mains instead, highlights of which include Serrano ham croquettes followed by hake with clams.

But if you want to go for the tapas option, go to Brindisa (18-20 Southwark St, London, SE11TJ). This is simply the best "Tapas" restaurant in London. The place is always packed and the food and combination of flavours are fantastic.
