What is the best Sport to do for if you want an Olympic medal but you aren't naturally a brilliant talent in a certain field and you are willing to put in hours of hard work?

I'm almost 17 and so by the London 2012 Olympics I will be 21 - so I've got time on my hands.

  1. That depends on what your boday is suited for. Long jump and Archery i guess are the more relaxing and simpler looking ones...

  2. none, to be in London in 4 years, that is just to get to the Olympics, you have to be very talented at something and work really hard at it.  4 years isn't much when it comes to training for the Olympics.  Now to actually be there and medal, which someone has done in 4 years, that would require an extreme amount of talent.

Come to the US, you can probably make our badminton squad for London =]

  3. this  shouldn't be one of those things where you watch tv get existed and look for the easiest thing you can find to get a medal. you should be doing this because you love the sport and want to be competitive not because you watch the olympics and go gosh i waaant one .but if their is some thing you want to learn try javelin i do that and it's not easy you have alot od mechanic stuff to learn the javelin cost about $200 for a cheap one and $500 and up for a good one this is a sport where you can be good if you work your *** off and know what to do

  4. no shot.... people train all their lives to make the olympics, not just 4 years, at an "easy" sport to get a medal
