What is the best Surf spot in Huntington Beach or the Oc for beginners?

It's my first time and I want to pick a mellow spot. Include streets Please.

well a good beginner spot, is bolsa chicka state beach. some more are hunting pier north and south side. then just a little down the beach in huntington state beach side go on magnolia street and surf that between towers 8-12

definately go to bolsa chica state beach. the waves arent powerful there but you can still have fun.  Good luck!
