What is the best Virus and Spam protection available to download.

I need the protection. I have this (Cyber defense) thing that keeps popping up says I have 13 viruses. Everything I've downloaded for free I've had to delete because it wants to charge me in the end!

I Would Recommend Spybot - Search & Destroy If You Have Spyware Problems And Avg Free Edition Is A Very Good Anti-virus Program....

But It Would Be Better If You Bought A Anti-virus Program..

I use norton anti virus protection and I have never gotten a virus using it. The bad news is if you want to protect your computer you will have to invest a little bit of money!

Sounds  like  you  have  some  poor  software -get rid of it  and  download AVAST!  for your anti virus and SPYWARETERMINATOR for your anti spyware. Both are free just google the names and you should get through to their websites.

By the way be very cautious online if you suddenly get a message saying that your computer is infected with hundreds of viruses and that you must download their program immediately! I'ts a load of rubbish so don't fall for it.

Best antivirus : Avira AntiVir (Free) and if you're using Outlook : Ella for Spam Control , if you're using a web-based e-mail you should try gmail.

Dont get AVG

If you dont mind paying get norton which is what i use... dont go for any 'free' illegal downloads of norton though, almost all will contain viruses.

But NOD is very good.
